Various ministry groups at CityLights Church are made possible by real people like you who are committed to doing whatever it takes to see each other grow in their walk with the Lord. There are many opportunities to serve! We want to help you find a team that best suits your passions and availability.
A WELCOMING PLACE FOR CHILDREN
AGES BIRTH TO FIFTH GRADE
KidCity is a fun and safe place where children up to 5th grade get to explore the life that God has created for them. Each Sunday morning at 10:00 am children are with their parents in the worship service and after the singing they are dismissed to their classes. There they continue to learn and grow together with their teacher.
Children make friends as they live together in a community of their peers, love each other as a family, learn through playing and singing, and laugh as they have fun in classes designed for their particular age level.
The safety of each child and adult is our first priority. The Children’s Wing of the church is set up to provide a secure environment. Parents check their children in and out every session.
We are excited about the opportunity to support you and your child's journey in Christ here at CityLights Church.
Life Groups are a safe place to connect,
make friends, be encouraged,
learn about Jesus, and share the journey of life!

Stay tuned for our next special Women's Event!
In the past we have enjoyed fun dinners with lots of fun, food and prizes. We have also attended some very uplifting Women's Conferences together.
Besides Men's Breakfasts and Cook-Offs our men have a lot of fun & friendly competition at Weekend Retreats and single day events! We also love serving strong as a service team.
WOMEN'S & FAMILY SHELTER
We have a heart to reach out and serve the homeless and hurting. That is why we partner with the Tacoma Rescue Mission's Women's and Family Shelter. This facility provides emergency shelter for single women and families with children, in apartment style housing. Also, meals, showers, and additional resources are provided in a welcoming atmosphere. Currently we have a team that serves on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. To volunteer or find out more information contact Lee and Val Weber firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also support CareNET of Puget Sound throughout the year with special fundraising events.
We usually meet weekly for Bible Study and enjoy an occasional Senior Lunch & Program catered just to us! We encourage one another and serve in many areas of CityLights. We would love to have you join us!
Our youth are the next generation of leaders in our homes, businesses, and government. The best way to encourage people to become great leaders is to help them be growing followers of Christ.
Our goal: to plug young people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
